Your breast augmentation and lift will be performed in an AAAHC-accredited facility by Dr. Luciano and his skilled medical team. Dr. Luciano typically performs an augmentation and lift while the patient is under general anesthesia to ensure they remain as comfortable as possible throughout the surgery. When placing the breast implants, Dr. Luciano will make a discrete incision underneath the natural crease of the breast and place the implants under the muscle.

This submuscular approach allows our patients to have very natural-looking breasts following surgery. Once the volume is restored in the breasts using an implant, Dr. Luciano will use a method called Internal Mastopexy to lift the breasts without introducing the possibility of more scarring. This method involves the capsule above the nipple being folded to raise the nipple and reduce excess sagging.

After your breast augmentation and lift, Dr. Luciano will fit you with a specially designed surgical bra. You will be asked to wear this bra throughout your recovery period to keep your breasts supported and reduce excess swelling as you heal. Swelling, bruising, and tenderness around your chest are normal and typically resolves on their own within one to two weeks of treatment.

Patients typically return to work and normal daily activities about seven to 10 days following their procedure. While most patients will see some results initially, ultimate results may not be visible until three to four months post-op. At this time all swelling will subside and the breasts will settle into their new position.
